Watching his videos over the past year it was clear some conversation was held about the future of the team and he had already stepped up into managing the racing effort last year, most likely with a view to this happening.
It would be good if he gets some financial backing so he can carry on the team, Phil has already said he can use the existing lorry, bikes etc.
I’m not taller Since his accident last year I followed his recovery closely as it was close to home for me personally. His positive attitude really helped my recovery. Shame it did not allow me to grow a little though.
this is just my opinion cant take it away from the guy, his tenacity and big balls, but that accident at the NW would have taken it out of him didn't he open up some old injuries in the last tumble? i have hurt my left leg a couple of times and nearly lost it, i can tell you gangrene aint nice thing is going right for me is no problem, but at my age, i can sometimes get nervous on a left hander, if i came off its possible i could lose a bit of my leg, i wonder if this is something they have to deal with, especially as they get older and their children start growing up
I met him at a Cadwell track day last year, a couple weeks before his big off. Really nice guy, and both my brother and I got on one of his youtube videos. I hope the best for him.
