To be honest, she was pretty much brilliant in every part she played. Legend is a much overused compliment these days but totally appropriate in her case.

 

Really was one of the true greats.

 

Came here to see if the news has spread. What an absolute shame, but good on Maggie! 89 is not an age to scoff at and with her life, it's something a lot of us should aspire to. I think Maggie Smiths passing is now one of only two celebrity deaths that feels personal. Robin William was the other that felt this painful.

To be honest I’d never heard of Muriel, but it’s very sad someone so young loses their life following an incident at a sporting competition.
