  3. We had an old work van that leaked oil into the coolant, it ended up getting fixed once it got to ridiculous amounts of engine oil having to be out in everyday.
It never did get fixed to anyone’s satisfaction and went back to leasing company at the end of its contract.
I’ll monitor it for a week and see if the levels drop.

  4. Was that the "30 years of Dirt" tour? Saw him at the Gielgud doing that and thought he was brilliant.

It's encouraged us to look for more comedy gigs and have found a circuit at a pub near us where they have well known names testing material along with lesser known comics for £17 per ticket. We've got shows with Zoe Lyons & Chris McCausland booked, and were supposed to see Reginald D Hunter at one; he didn't appear but they got Paul Sinha from The Chase as a replacement. Wasn't sure what to expect but he was superb.

  5. Managed to grab a freebie from the M6 toll again today that’s the 5th time now but you need to feel lucky.

  6. Today I got back from a few days riding in the north of Ireland. Spent the last few hours cleaning the bike, luggage and gear as the weather was rubbish.

However the riding was excellent………these are the routes we did over the past few days :upyeah:

  7. Good advice. The doctor said they’ll do a blood test in a few weeks, once this is under control, then will formulate a plan to ensure this doesn’t happen again. He reckons that coming off Naproxen a few weeks ago has removed all defences against gout from my body, hence the flare up.

  9. Well another day in the Two tier police shit hole that is this country.
Had a meeting booked with Malvern police at 6pm today to discuss everything going on with the rat neighbours. This only came about because my wife sent a strongly worded email to them, anyway a police officer called just as we were leaving and said she will do it over the phone so no need to bother coming in.
basically it was a total snub and she had a noticeably shitty attitude towards us from the start, they are going to do nothing because I can’t prove the hedge is mine , deeds not enough because they want to lt specifically state the hedge is ours and the deeds don’t have that detail.
She asked if we were getting help for our mental health and i laughed and said stop the cause of it and we won’t need to, copper basically had a huge meltdown because I laughed and ranted at me like a child so that was pretty much the end of the conversation.
We have also sent emails with details of the last 10 months to the IOPC, PCC, Chief Constable of West Mercia, our MP and also our local councillor. Already had some replies but all basically passing the buck.
Sorry I just really needed to get that off my chest as I’m in for yet another sleepless night.

  11. Absolutely, they had no problem arresting me and holding me for 22 hrs on malicious hearsay lies last week.

  12. Picked our Nissan note up from the garage today after having a service, cambelt and waterpump £805 .
The merc camper went into limp mode with an engine management light on at the weekend so that's booked for next week .
Popped up to my dad after work on my 765 for a cuppa and the service light came on!.
Got home and just had a email saying my bike insurance is due the end of the month!!.
Just off out to rob a bank, AArrrggghh...

  14. That’s why my wife had the phone, she’s a lot more level headed than me, she said after the call “ we’re on our own aren’t we”
    It’s very stressful atm

  15. Do you have, or can you get your hands on, the original plan for the plot of lane showing the division lines be tween the development sites. This would give you accurate measurements and information regarding ownership of the hedge.

  18. Me too. I have to take Omeprazole each day as well, to protect my stomach.

  19. The problem is our property was built in 1960 on a piece of farm land, we have no joining properties to ours just farmland and a road (the rats live further down the road and are not connected to our property). I have all our deeds and the plot plan is pretty basic with no measurements on it just a red line which is open to interpretation. Police want an up to date plan which I don’t think exists.
Rats are saying part of our hedge is highway’s property and they have permission to cut it.

  20. I’d have thought dating back so recently to the ‘60’s would have been advantageous.
Have you checked the archives at the town hall planning department for when consent to build was originally granted?

Alternatively you could build a fence on your side of the hedge and be done with it.
