  1. Would have posted in the Marquez thread but now I can say what I like.

Pedders - will be the nearly man of Moto GP. Sad for him. But if he can't beat a team mate with a dislocated shoulder, it's all over for him. You'd have thought he'd have been totally fired up with the morning's news, but it didn't seem that way. Rubbish start.

Lorenzo - well, happy to have actually won, but if that's what it takes to beat the riding wounded.... Shouldn't think his celebrations will last much beyond this week.

Marquez - you wonder just how dislocated his shoulder was. Some mind games here perhaps? He didn't seem to be bothered by it after the race either - waving his arms around, not the post race pain kicking in. Strange. He is quite simply the new Rossi - he's brought a step change to Moto GP. I didn't like him much at first, he appeared a bit smug, but I've really warmed to him. I think it's just joie de vivre - he's having a ball.

Cal - Beaten up physically or riding a bitsa? Or both? Well, it's all about the weekend as a whole I suppose and he did wreck 3 bikes (even if the 3rd wasn't entirely his fault, seeing as Marquez helped him write it off). Somewhat disappointing though. I have no red button, so if someone knows the answer...

  2. but well done scott redding..

    marquez
    dislocated shoulder my arse
    probably some dislocated bum fluff

    pedrosa
I think he is just too small
surely there is an optimum size to throw a bike around.
thats all I can put it down too lol

    :)

  3. ######## wins GP race.....

there you go....now do you get my point?

  4. Threads merged

  5. My first ever GP,been to WSB etc,but this blew me away, the corner speed and bravery still has me shaking my head.

  6. You've got to give Lorenzo some credit rather than say it was all due to Marquez' crash, the boy raced his heart out. In the previous race and in qualifying for this race you could see he was rather downbeat about his prospects of winning, but come raceday he pulled a truly great performance out of the hat.

  7. Bautista's come alive of late, too. Is his contract under threat or something..?

  8. Redding total quality. Cal disappointing. Marquez incredible. Lorenzo showed mettle. Pedrosa should ask for his third place cup now...and Rossi still a racer :upyeah:

  9. Top drawer entertainment, we have some fantastic racers at the moment :upyeah:

  10. cant wait to see redding on the rcv.
i think he could be our hottest prospect

  11. He is our hottest property - our hottest property since Sheene, and someone we should all get behind 100%

The boy's a multiple gp winner and currently leading a world championship renowned for it's close racing, in a class that's proving a good feeder for motogp. He's got a bright future.

  12. im impressed everytime I see him race.

  13. The future is bright. The future is Redding

  14. Redding was amazing today I must admit was always under pressure.

I have always like Marquez even in moto2. I was at lufffeild and it was great to see the overtaking, Marquez/Lorenzo, Rossi/Bautista and not to mention Hayden/divi passing Smith only for divi to retire. No all on that corner great day.

  15. Not sure about the customer Honda RCV Redding is on next year. All the go faster bits are missing, might be slower than CRT. He's signed for 2 years so lets hope its good.

  16. What a race, it was spectacular. I was sat at Copse opposite the big screen, and glad I was as I didnt miss that amazing finishing fight that showed super skill.:upyeah:
It was a super ride to Silverstone and back with my brother.

I was a bit miffed when watching the news last night and the only mention of MotoGP was Silverstones MD interviewed on what a great day for British Motorsport it was. What? You mean all that cash he just raked in, no mention on the riders or the championship. BBC shame on you.

  17. Me and me mate were there, roving Friday and Saturday and booked seat at Becketts for the race. Never been to any Motorsport event before but had a wicked time, just happy we cooked our own food and took our own drink, £12 for two coffee and two croissants ha ha!

  18. I rode up with the wife on our MV 1090rr Brutale, that was a first for us, riding to a race. It was also our first time at MotoGP, and what a fantastic atmosphere, I bought my Scott Redding cap on Saturday ready for Sunday, and to keep my baldy head from the sun. We sat on the pit straight right opposite the podium as Luffield was full when we tried to get in. Happy though with what we got to see, Moto2 was amazing, with Scott being from only up the road near Gloucester, makes him almost family!! The closing laps of MotoGP were also good. Wish I the money to see more and follow them around the globe. It will become an annual now for sure.

  20. It is, that's when we were roving on Friday. Had an awesome weekend and loved the racing
