I'm not convinced by that solution! Sure it'll drop the db level but..... That's one from Japan isn't it?
Its my understanding that Ducati UK will be the ones offering the refund, not MSV (track owners) or FE
Just got back from hols and picked up this thread - I didn't know about the one on the 27th, but am there on the 9th.... But with a 101dB limit I guess that will be on the 848 rather than the Desmo!
Just do Brands hatch GP with No limits on the 19th Sept its only £169.00 better day and its about the riders not profits Fe need to get to sort there prices and it wont be exclusive for Ducati riders any way !!!!!
I think you'll find that the No Limits GP day is 4 groups rather than the 3 groups for the FE day. This would explain the price differential. It has nothing to do with it being a Ducati day -it's about riding time on track - more time = more cost. Simples.
Maybe so but Ducati sometimes need to think how they plan these events the costs are high I do plenty of track days its seems to me too pricey when you think about it what you going to loose 30mins for the price difference and there will be less in the groups
Once i get my 998 ready id like to do brands, whats the decibel test involve, will open termis get through or do i have to still silly noise killers in
my 998s with open 54mm terms no baffles (and note an OEM closed clutch cover ) tested 98db static at brands today i was so shocked i stalled the bike leaving the testing area!
Sometimes loading the enine by having in gear and slipping a little to bite points can help quieten it down. Clutch cover a minimum
The track works a static test not ride by just bring some baffles msvr control the sound not focused events dont understand why FE cant tell everyone that in the first place !!!!!!!!!!
Just to say we're coming with the 3 of us ! will be in the Rapido garage ! ... hope it stays dry which the forecast says it won't .. so we'll bring the 999 on its raintires as well !....
A Multi Strada with open Termis passed the noise test first thing, as the day warmed up he set off all the sound meters whilst on a fast lap and informed that he will have to stick the baffles in.
the only time i got pulled of was on a 95db day at donington where they said i got just over the limit, let me ride around to get back on and some shortshifting did it all...
