That was definitely the worst part. I had a paper suit on from Screwfix with mask googles and gloves . Five rolls of 150mm insulation. Had to stop a couple of times as the googles were wet on the inside with sweat .
Cut the old plastic water tank up into four parts with a handheld four inch grinder , only took about 10 mins .
Won't be late to bed tonight, I'm 50 now but still 25 in my head !

I can’t stand the rain.

I like the song, I can’t stand the reality. All we’ve had is heavy rain, torrential rain, biblical rain, as you know.

Record rainfall in the village for 35 years. Flooding, massive roof leaks in my rental property, rapid emergency repairs done by myself. No motorbike riding, misery. That’s not living, it’s an existence.
Shocking form, I’ll write to my MP.

The Multistrada went into a vented bag for the winter, I’ll sorn it asap. It’s a shame because I wanted to try out the Rapidbike Evo a bit more. It’ll have to wait ‘till spring.

I put a stupidly expensive lock on the lock up garage I’ve rented, gratefully assisted by Uncle Bazz. Hopefully that keeps the contents safe.

I filled up the car with go-go juice and luggage, chucked in an e-bike and the Mrs and we’ve *#@d off to Spain. There is some chance of rain there for the first day or two but after that hopefully normal service will resume . Especially as the plan is;
On arrival, get the Monster out and go to the Superbikes at Jerez next weekend, with bro 2 and Jorg the laughing German.

Now this plan didn’t go down too well with the present Mrs H. Neither did plans B & C, to go to the Classic Car show and the Motorcycle Live show with Uncle Baz. Neither of which happen to be in Spain. Doh!

Anyhew, we’re now making waves in the direction of Bilbao with over 24hrs to kill before we arrive at 8am Tuesday.

Noah had it right. With all the rain a boat is the safest place to be.

I'd my phone call friday which interrupted my roof job, but they won't as i hit his van in frustration, the thing's he started it through bad driving with no consideration for others. I'll do things very differently next time out for sure.
