My toes could do with a drop of that stuff as they're bloody cold today.

 

Just over a pint in a boozer I stopped off at the other day in our capital village. It’s probably cheaper to have a Coke habit there and not the canned/bottled stuff either.

 

Nice, have the first tot in a cup of tea to get the taste for it and then the rest neat or with a little ice

 

Random animal post.
I came across this guy in my garden recently. There is no pond or free standing water anywhere near my home so I was surprised to find it. Apparently they eat slugs so it’s more than welcome to stay.


On Sunday I was walking along the coast near my home and found this scruffy wee critter dining on a decaying sea bird of some kind. It was very tame, even climbed on my boot and looked like we wanted to climb up my trouser leg, but it was only our first date and I have standards. I guess it is an escapee or was maybe kicked out.

 

You can forget ambrosia this is food of the gods

 

Have you tried XO Marmite?

 

No I never have... I do tend to spread it a little sparsely so may find it a little too hardcore.

But there again...

That's what I'd fear and just what do you do with a jar of Marmite XO that's had one farty knife full taken out of it?

Sell it ebay or perhaps for a giggle spread it on all the lamposts in the vicinity and watch the cats & dogs go berserk for it...

 

That’s an intentional disagree, it’s a foul tasting by product.
