It’s a different world here. Everything is closing this weekend for the “winter”. It’s still 26 bloody degrees, we can’t get our heads around it. This hotel is closing on Saturday, until MAY!!!!!!!
Same old same old... The overhead is only viable if the occupancy is high enough, starting with the 'plane, then the land shuttle, the accommodation etc The hoteliers already know the demand is not high enough to support prices which will make the proposition of remaining open viable. Plus they have probably had enough, made enough and want a holiday themselves!
Hadestown; the story of Orpheus and Eurydice set to a New Orleans style songbook. It was really well done and the actors playing Persephone and Hermes looked as though they were enjoying themselves as much as the audience.
Went to Fiskardo yesterday, via Chorgota Beach (where they filmed the opening scenes of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin). It was stunning. The roads here are amazing; I’d love to come here on the bike one day.

@Carr01 won a bid on ebay for 14 site panels, 15 feet like new, 32 new clips, also she threw in a wheelbarrow, five eight foot scaffolding boards. two water barrels plus two sheets of OSB sheeting.........not bad for £55 plus a teener for fuel. Moved the red superlight for perhaps the last time as the roads were nice & dry, very tempted to leave it taxed for next week as maybe one or two sunny days.
Went to the SnowDome for an intermediate ski lesson with my Son. Having not skied for 30 years I was fairly surprised just how quickly I got back into the swing of it. Not long now and my Son is off to Japan for a season.
Had a text , yes a text from the unprofessional filth today saying my bail has been extended for another month to mid November, it was meant to be this Sunday when I hoped all this bullshit would end but they are dragging it on as long as possible. That rope in the garage is looking more and more appealing.
