Da Thunder Down Under...

  1. He has had his moments of poor judgement tbh..

Ah..blocked, search Vinales over revs Yamaha..

Seems unable to be reliably on form, shame, as he can be very fast. Most of the time though, he under delivers. Cant see a future in motogp for him at the end of the current Aprilia contract.

  2. I remember the over revving panto well. Amazed anyone would employ him after that.

  3. Bez was face down not moving in the gravel while he was throwing another paddy and then continued do so in the post race interview . Not a good look.

  4. Fair play to 93 tremendous ride.

Digi on the other factory bike next year is going to be next to pointless. Ducati have sold us all out unless some very big strides are made from at least one of the other manufacturers.

  5. It seems likely to be either be a one make or a one rider series. No other manufacturer has been consistently close to Ducati this season.

  6. Exactly. Clownery at its finest…

  7. A good ride by Marquez. I'm not a supporter nor a hater but I have to admire his desire to win.
I wonder if that pass on Jorge purposely pushed him deep? Not in a reckless way, more next level race craft. Marc was fast in the last sectors but not enough to outdrag Jorge to turn 1. The pass gave him just enough to get to the end of the straight in first and one more hot lap and he was out of reach.

  8. You might even say they've gone backwards a bit (KTM and Aprilia) and the gap between best and the rest has grown not reduced.

  9. Oh he's head and shoulders above everyone else on that grid for race craft (the clean stuff and the other kind) no doubt about it, its why he's the only rider that can make up 5 or 6 places on one corner regularly and its like watching the parting of the red seas lol.

  10. It does feel like that. The best riders on the grid though, they are on board Ducati (Fabio maybe an exception..)
Next year will be the tell. Martin on Aprilia and the Beast on KTM. Add in, Acosta will have a year under his belt.

Another factor though, data. If you have twice any bikes on the grid, you have twice as much data. Assuming you have the techs to interpret that, then you have another big advantage.

  11. Can only see Acosta coming close next season. The beast can’t even qualify on the best bike and there’s no way Jorges getting close on the Ape however talented he is I’m afraid.

  12. think mav was just reacting with a hell of an adrenaline surge from being punted. I'm sure once he saw the vid footage he calmed down and they're alright with each other

  13. Nope, he was throwing his toys out the pram in a big way.

  14. Whats everyones highlights of the season then? Have to say most of them have come in moto 2 and 3 for me.
Dixon winning Silverstone obviously and Alonso (pretty much every weekend) equalling and probably going on to beat VR46's record in moto 3.
    Hes coming for you Pedro!

  15. Dixons win was spoiled by his parc ferme interview, what a cockwomble!
