Still perfect , never oiled , 6000 miles . Cannot recommend enough of you like a clean hassle free chain . I came from years of shaft drive and hated the idea of a chain , this is as good as a shaft , adjusted twice , only as im a bit of a tinker .
Had those on my S1000XR and even with full winter riding it did very well and of course looks lovely when clean!!! Where did you buy the chain (and sprocket?) set from please? Peter

Ride all year round , and ……. I is a bit of a hooligan , just wished my tyres lasted as long along with my brake pads , to add that bike had had a very hard life 6000 miles which works out to a conservative 20 to 25 trips … fun tho as no commute, just fun days out
Yes and if I remember correctly, the original instructions included a mileage limit as well. Not sure how long ago this surfaced on here but this is the first post with practical 'evidence'. Andy
Yes but only ever washed it and dried , and rubbed with a cloth , I use those vulcanite wipes as well , for the shine. I do have a cloth with ac50 residue which I occasionally rub on the outer links in the winter months as to protect a bit more after ride outs . You might argue that a periodic light lube of the seals might be beneficial as to keep the outer x ring fresh , but this would be an overnight soak perhaps then a wipe off , find the occasional AC50 residue rag seems to keep the pin and the rings looking fresh , but no cleaners now or oil spatter , 1000% better for me and worth the cost . The original chain went in the bin from new .
Can’t remember seeing the mileage limit on the chain instructions, but so far only one real adjustment from new ( as you would a standard chain) and a tiny tweek before I went to Spain this year , still perfect . So at 6k I would expect loads more miles , but let’s see . The thought of an oily chain now is just a no no for me . To add , the chain when on tour and general rides is dirty , not a combination of oil and grit creating ann anbras medium for both roller , links , rollers and pins and washes of in the rain or a hosepipe.
