I was having an ok day before my side window in the van popped, grass strimming so my own thought i guess. I've checked out the insurance and you're covered for side windows.
Technically yesterday but Mrs GG dragged me to Wimbledon Theatre to see Hairspray. Much to my surprise the plot was much deeper and edgy than I had expected and I have to say I enjoyed it (although not to Mrs GG who will view that as some sort of vindication of her musical judgement).
I have just spent the last 90 minutes onto our IT section trying to sort out my new phone setup and have officially lost the will to live.
on the little Arosa (Seat's Lupo) i seem to have cured the mystery of my rear brake drum problem by accident, I don't care if it works - all ready for MOT next Thursday.
Yeah just imagine that, it would mean musical theatre at every opportunity. A little bit like saying you enjoyed a meal that was cooked for you only to find you get fed it every flipping week…….
Spent an hour in traffic in the car doing 3 miles, all because some chumpton decided to have an accident on the motorway on a Friday afternoon. Luckily I'd just been to the butchers, so ate all the sausage rolls before I got home.
I took an ornamental cherry tree down, it’s never produced edible cherries and it drops its leaves after 3 months so it had to go. My wife cut through the main trunk with just a hand saw which I thought was really impressive considering I was blowing out of my arse and clutching my chest after 5 minutes when I tried
Spent the day with our niece, as her granny is in hospital with hours to live, another victim of the big C.
I've been there with my late grandmother in this situation many moons ago, the main thing's she has good people around her.
Few hours rideout for a bit of a suspension test on wet cold roads... Out over Staffs. Moors towards Leek before returning via Buxton>Matlock>Derby. 110 miles. Back just in time for the grandchildren and babysitting duties so bike cleaning duties will have to wait.
Bought another 2 3d printers, my first resin and an up to date fdm(looking to offer services in the new year). Printed my first resin model, night and day to an fdm printed model (0.4 nozzle).
I gave my garage diesel heater (apparently used engine oil works too) a going over ready for the colder weather. Almost instant cheap heating is important for my old joints, I might even invest in a lifting bench one of these days and keep my knees off the floor and slow down the wear and tear on my draughty jeans.
My wife dropped our niece off earlier while I was doing dinner, when she got home she said that she passed away this afternoon. Very sad.
