They certainly work in the UK on dual carriageways and motorways, I enjoyed my Harley and I’m really tempted to buy another or a Diavel.
Finally fixed my Sons Aprilia it runs well, he has 5 weeks to rag it round the streets before he leaves for Japan. Then I may strip it down to give it a refurb.
Why is it that Harley riders all like that same look? I can tell you, it’s not for me. The route plan so far is fly to Orlando, pick up the bikes, ride to L.A. Fly back. Might need a bit of fleshing out but so far so good.
I didn’t dress like @West Cork Paul does on his Harley, those tassels must be hellish flapping about at 55mph. Just my Dainese jacket, jeans and Blunderstones. Along with my open face helmet.
Stripped all of the brakes on my bevel, with nothing stuck. Last apart when Giuseppe put them together in 1980.... The benefits of good dust seals. Pity the pistons are not titanium as was once rumoured, appear to be coated aluminium
Fitted my newly acquired Maxton GP10 rear shock yesterday, i'll hopefully go for a ride today to try it out
Booked a service for my 765 for Friday. Good old dad is taking it for me, let's hope he pays for it too.
Very surprisingly ordered some custom brake lines for the sxv this morning from Hel - put the order in at 9 - just had a message back that they'd been dispatched 10.20....if theyre here for the weekend that would be amazing as i could get those changed over - the oem ones are a bit shit tbh - made out of multiple sections and arent routed very well. Edit not sure what the dislike was for...just calling it as i see it...
I got 24hr service from Hel when I made up the custom front brake line for my Triumph build. I was very pleased.
Yeah - i was pretty surprised at the speed....the ones on my zed are a little bit ropey now (and they were designed for the original calipers on the zed) so ill probably do those next month...
Did a cheat clean on the GS (I only cleaned the dirty bits) ready to get it messed up the next time I ride it.
