Or, you can get the nicer looking Alfa GTV 3.0L V6 for about £3k. £15k would buy a limited edition “Cup”, which, for some reason, fetch about £13k even though IIRC the only difference is they have a bodykit and an LSD.
i'm gonna go full controversial (and perhaps a lil predictable) and say the V6 is the dullest of the dull. but i have driven many fiats and alfas on medium/fast twisty roads. including new alfa's gtv/spider convertible 159's ect. give me the large diesel versions every time.
I hear you brother. I used to have an E46 M3, but even though it was an absolutely fantastic car, I didn’t like the negative connotations it came with and so I sold it.
this is 2024, my work van made 70 more than that.....and that's an oil burner. Joking aside my sister has one and loves it.
Thank you all - I passed on the wisdom. Comment from work dude: 996 911 would be good, but he has had Boxter previously so not interested in a Cayman. The Mazda MX-5 he seemed to like as well - excellent drivers car (apparently). In short, back to thinking and "maybe next year".
