Greetings from the dark depths of Cumbria! I am yet another new member to 'this' forum (just subscribed as well today), so forgive me if I make a few mistakes going forward. I Don't have a ride at the moment, but am doing my research on a late model 748 S (despite being a rubbish time of year to look for one). Previously I have had a Yamaha R6, Z650, Daytona 500T, BSA SR and also an RR as well as playing around with Honda, Yamaha and Moto Guzzi etc etc. I also put my time and effort into restoring a 1974 Detomaso Pantera which I sold at the end of Covid, so looking to get back into the motorcycle world again! Hopefully I will be putting a 'wanted ad' in the for sale/wanted section in the near future.
Any pics of the Pantera, you can’t just casually drop that in without pictures? It’s one of my all time favourite cars, oh and welcome.
Hmm well just for you guys...including the engine rebuild with the club chairman... some may note the US spec wheels and bumpers on one shot....if I can make it work !
it's really clear what an incredible amount of effort has gone into that restoration, if you felt like doing a retro step-by-step thread with pictures on here i'm sure it would get a lot of viewers.
