Saw the gritting trucks out yesterday night. Time to tuck up two Roof slowly pushing it all out? Eeek!
The inside skin hasn’t moved neither has the roof line. Looking at the neighbours it seems a common enough problem where the outer skin has bulged probably caused by a leaking gutter and frost over the years? also there are no header bricks in this elevation, which is odd. It’s done well though for 160 years.
Today I’ve got my builders maintenance manager coming to check out my two year snagging list that I submitted for work to be done before their warranty expires in December. Then this afternoon I’ve got a “Well Man Clinic” at the docs.
Considering selling all the bikes, I might put some up on here but I don’t think they are really of any interest to members on here so probably eBay. Not sure yet what’s best.
Ha ha, yeah it’s not the weather I usually ride all year round, like I say not sure what to do yet but maybe it’s time to start off loading them.
Well the builders guy came at 10am and I thought I’d get knocked back on lots of minor issues given they weren’t life threatening or structural in any way and purely aesthetic which could be sorted by decorating, but he accepted every single issue I’d flagged up, even adding a few others I’d not picked up on. The work won’t get done until the new year but at least my niggles are now registered
