Well it has been 2 weeks since I started using it on regular basis and over 1 week to work. Scooter is as shit as expected. The only game I try and play on it is how far can I go for 8GBP..... so far 110 miles. Uh and annoy power rangers commutes Game of how fast can I get to work no point as I max the scooter out 50% of the journey. Took 996 one day to work and with no hassle 6 min less. So bad things: Constant fear it will go pop as throttle is off at lights, on rest of the way Anything above 65 indicated (on motorway....), which is down hill, slip streaming with wind at back and you shit your self it is so unstable. No one sees you not even fucking cyclists. Other bikers do not nod back, bunch of snobs yes yellow, black and red monster rider you to. Tank range. Noise. Handling. Braking. Fun. Looks. Built quality. Honestly except fuel economy see no benefits. To explain how bad it is. My favourite roundabout to park lane heading towards Edgware. Can not have fun as always blocked by others. Today black Kawasaki rider In Arlenness jacket, jeans, primary school shoe bag, cherry lid. I get In front of him next to my mate the queen house. Shoot off first as he slow at lights he just twists throttle, goes in front and sticks to x0 so I cannot overtake easy but I manage doing x2..... Get my way to front next to r-about. He is next. Shoots off then brakes to like 15mph on first turn so I almost rear end him it is a 60mph turn!!!!!! Same on next right, left, left, right and left. I know he sees me being faster. Finally he disappears by taking a turn off towards A40. I know short cut so got there much faster. Funny enough hangar lane roundabout same rider pulls up behind me giving me the look obviously pissed off That shit mobile got there faster. He blocks me one last time and gone. Prick. Worst of it all even if I wanted to the shit is to slow to get In trouble with the fuzz....
so sounds like you got it down about right just need to start wearing tracky bottoms and standing around with hands down the front lol :biggrin:
Standing with hands down front I do not think jurking off on scooter while riding it and standing on it is safe ...... Mind you quite an achievement if you manage. Not yet seen anyone doing that. Where do you live btw?
Erm how can you say That. I was barely able to keep up with ambulance/panda on it today. Normally I overtake them on dukes.

Presume thats a 50cc scoot? Have you thought about something bigger ie 250 scooter? I use a suzuki burgman for work and its brill at what it does. 70+mpg 70+mph and a nice fairing to hide behind when the weather is bad.
Feel your pain Luca, Ive been using this Xmax 250 all week. Already nearly been killed by a bloke in a blue van and a private hire Prius I tried to talk to a bloke on a GSXR (nice one too, open pipe, very nice) to tell him he had left his indicator on. I thought he was going to punch me . Bloody hell the riding position is horrid I want my Ducati back :frown:
