Laverda 650, question's why would you break this motorcycle up.? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/33556499...-b4c0-16993e0c95fc|iid:1|vlpname:vlp_homepage
I believe they are known to handle but with a lack lustre engine. Perhaps somebody is transplanting in something a bit more exciting.
Someone should offer him a little more for the whole unit, that's where i was pointing it for folk...........
I expect that the owner is hoping that the sum of the value of the parts is greater than the whole. He is likely mistaken but people get mislead by taking a quick look at the unattainable prices being asked for the parts on ebay, selling a few parts and being left with the rest which take years to sell. A real shame to break a running one, as they are getting rare, though on these, a quick start -up and idle up to temp won’t tell you if the common top-end fault that kills most of these is about to bite. I wouldn’t say lacklustre - at the time they were pretty powerful for the engine displacement / layout, but they went slightly beyond the engineering and oil protection limits of the design and it was pretty unreliable, made worse because the Nico Bakker designed chassis was SO sweet that resulted in them being thrashed mercilessly

If my memory is correct, those two piece Marvic wheel can have serious issues with bi-metallic corrosion. From the pics, those don't look in the best of condition, so may not be the selling point the vendor thinks they are.
1958 125t, i'm not sure why you'd change the original frame colour.? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17668288...-99c7-3667951c5002|iid:1|vlpname:vlp_homepage
Easy to see where the Superlight premium over a Supersport 900 comes from - £2k for the wheels, £800 for the high level pipes, £400 for the seat. And not forgetting, £3k for the headstock plaque
Mine's missing on the yellow one for some odd reason, probably a bit like the VW badges back in the day with folk pinching them etc.
