  6. Is there any sound in a garage more satisfying than the crack a rusted bolt makes when it frees :party:

    Didn't need the drills as the torx bit and a breaker bar did the business.

  8. I love the sound of a ratchet ratcheting regardless of the circumstance. It's like the good solid click of a light/electrical switch, I love that as well.

    Oh, it's just me then... ahem :)

  10. It's only satisfying when you've established the crack was it freeing off, not the same sound it makes when it shears off.

  14. Yeah and I reckon the hammering in of the said Torx bit must help in some way.

    A good solid breaker bar is also hard to beat. It's length gives the torque required plus it lets you feel what's going on.
