I'd love an MV F3 800 but the company reminds me a lot of Ducati as they were 20 years ago. Great bikes with a few idiosyncrasies, iffy build quality and dubious back up.
Got to say that the local mv dealer was very friendly but it felt like it was run on a shoestring budget which fills me with horror when you need assistance. Which I will I guess.
Ducati 899 Spotted Don't know if this was added to that big thread but here it is, DSS kills it for me Ducati 899 breaks cover - Motorcycle news: New bikes - Visordown
Keep up at the back!! You're two weeks late!!! http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f11/new-shape-848-baby-1199-a-13265/index18.html#post211466
good old MCN. always the first to get these 'spy' shots. if I had a penny blah blah blah... over the years for these stage-managed headlines they dole out...
I believe the production has come to a halt, or at least very few 848's are coming out of Italy, there are only 2x 848 Evo (non Corse) on the Ducati stock system and I have just bought one I like everyone here looked seriously at the MV F3 675 and 800, the 675 was off because I have a Daytona 675 so not different enough and the 800; well generally I agree that MV just seem to need some big investment in spares and dealer backup. With regards to Mini Panigale, I'm not massively upset about the Dual Swingarm tbh; the later xx9 series look great with those black swingarms; for me. I found the 848 more comfortable, my knee's don't rub on the fairings and it has that 'old shool' heritage look about it. plus, it will be £13K+ I think, which is too much until I work harder!!
The range refresh (Monster 1098) will be announced next week as part of the MY2014 range. The 899 will be announced at EICMA. That's what I've been told!
