A 2.8 rating on Trustpilot from 50 reviews, 28 of those being 1 star. £35 is not going to buy you any sort of decent vehicle report. And the business address in Shelton Street, Convent Garden, WC2. Definitely not good. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/carlabportal.co.uk
A slow time coffee and bacon roll for brunch at our local farm deli plus a bit of cheese buying. Now just getting ready to head off up the smoke to see (well, listen to) Florence Black supporting Massive Wagons at the O2 Academy. I’m probably going to be one of the oldest in the audience but who cares, I’m looking forward to the evening Andy
Ordered a steel reg plate for the SXV - mounted just behind the tailpipe section - hoping metal will be a bit more durable that plastic as after 30 seconds the engine turns into lava. Ordered some catch tanks, along with a new domino throttle boot for the throttle and some sort of guide which apparently stop the cables snapping - apparently a weak point.
Put the tree and outside lights up today. Picked up a steak & kidney from the butchers, so had that for dinner with a drop of red. Wife has been sleeping most of the evening, so I’ve left her to finally get the rest she so desperately needs.
Last night... Went into town and did that... Then into the old town for some good Hanoian street food.
Dined at Sticks and Sushi in Shepherds Bush before the gig last night, just wow ! Not the cheapest meal I’ve eaten but if you are a fan of sushi, IMO, a great modern twist. Florence Black were awesome, Massive Wagons were not so. Still struggle to understand why Florence Black hasn’t been signed to a record label. Learned they are playing at Chepstow Castle next year so that’s a Christmas present sorted Andy
The kettle blew up last night so a replacement was found after a little search on the web for prices.
