Short ride out this morning with bro 2. Sorry, no pics but it’s all either up up or down down. Some road stuff and a fair bit of rugged track stuff. Lots of gullies that the recent rain storms have cut into the gravel & rock tracks but mostly drying out now. Although the rainwater is still coming out of the rock 4-5 days after the rain. Unusual here. Thought the elevation info might be of interest.
I've recently changed gyms, the new one has lots more classes. My first impression of spin classes was they ought to be banned as 'cruel and unusual punishment'. However, I now find myself addicted...I've become a proper little cardio bitch. Also loving Palates, there I said it....
Been working away since Wednesday so dropped my gravel bike in for a service in the hope it will be good for a couple of the winter months. It had been a bit creaky. New bottom bearing New pads f & r Straighten derailleur Top up sealant Check all bolts, adjust gears Just ridden home, despite it being very windy the bike felt like new.
Wet and windy Saturday, scrolling through the TV channels, and U is repeating all the Guy Martin 'Speed' programmes. Although I've seen them all before I rewatched the 'Britains Fastest Cyclist' episode. I think it's available on catch up, well with a watch if you haven't seen it before, and worth watching again if you have. It's mental!
This weather together with work and shorter days is drastically reducing my road riding time. I’ve done 303 miles on my spin bike, some of it Zwift some spin classes. 271 miles to go.
Did nothing last week due to dire weather. Hoping for the usual Tuesday 20 if it's dry in the evening after work.
