Newbie, 50 Years Young & 1st Ducati

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Martin Sanders, Dec 1, 2024.

  1. Greeting all, forgive my ignorance but I’m brand new to the forum & indeed Ducati so please bare with me. I’m 50years young & really do not know where time has gone, been riding since I was lucky enough to have a Honda Z50 at 6 years old & been on two wheels ever since & still love every second. I love all bikes from classic to modern, mx/enduro to Adventure & Sports.
Thankfully my long suffering wife’s eyes always light up when another bike arrives - well that’s what I believe she is thinking & I’m certain the imminent arrival of my pre-loved Ducati will be of no exception .
I was lucky enough to be at Eicma Milano a couple of weeks ago (a must if you haven’t been) & threw my leg over a panigale for the 1st time & absolutely fell for the bike - felt like the perfect fit.
Fast forward & I’ve only gone & purchased a new piece of traveling art.
Looking forward to tips, ideas & chat & more than likely help from the like minded.
Have a good day all & keep riding.

  7. Welcome!

I hope that you conclude that Ducatis are expensive, but you get what you pay for. I think that Ducati quality outshines everything else! Well. that is what i tell myself!
