Had a video meeting with my pension company to discuss how to further maximise my tax allowances going forward. Another meeting planned in the new year to tie up the loose ends
If you've a very long queue of men standing around perhaps then she's sent out the wrong message with all that red.
Yeah... I reckon there's nowhere near enough stuff on it. You can still see bits of green poking through
Went to the funeral home yesterday, to make arrangements for the funeral. They said we need to have a face to face interview with the registrar of deaths. Apparently, this has to be done, and it can’t be done online. The soonest they can do is next Wednesday, and that’s at an office around 20 miles away, so we’ve booked that. Our local office can’t even see us until January. This means we’ve got no chance of having the funeral before the New Year, so the whole thing will be in everyone’s minds all over Christmas. This country really is so backward, at times. When my Dad died a couple of years ago (in the US), he was cremated within two days of dying, and the death certificates were issued immediately. Same with selling his house. From the minute the buyer agreed to buy, everything was done and dusted in around two weeks, and the new owners had moved in. We really need to up our game, it’s shameful.
Agreed. All that nonsense just piles more stress and anguish on the already suffering families, at a time they could do without it.
Sat at home on this damp and grey day, waiting on DPD to deliver my one and only Black Friday purchase, a 45W portable solar charging panel for my Ecoflow Delta 2 inverter battery. Andy
The circle restricted view at the side of the stage £112; the back of the circle £168; the rear of the stalls £211; the front of the stalls VIP experience was £468 I think. For comparison, fronts stalls £85, under £70 for front row on stage with Bryan Adams. 3rd row for Joe Bonamassa, which might be considered a more valid comparison was £200.
Albert Hall? Bought Clapton tickets for Son at NEC £250 6th row back, equivalent at RAH were well North of £1k. When he did go he thoroughly enjoyed Andy Fairweather too.
Eventful morning. Found out my cars mot expired last month so off we popped to the nearest garage that had an availability today. Left they keys and started having a wander round the estate and came across a natural pet supplies place and I was bored so went inside (I had Kenny with me). Chap started asking about Kenny and we started to get into a conversation about his elbow dysplacia and subsequent ops. Barely got into it before he announced he’d cured his alsation of elbow dysplacia with homeopathy. I switched off immediately. I did however buy some “100% Scottish Salmon Oil” as ive been meaning to try Kenny on it for a while for his stiff joints/arthritis (I suspect this is what the idiot behind the counter meant when he was talking about elbow dysplacia but I couldn’t be bothered to go into it). £22 MOT Failed of course. Bubble in the front left tyre. Back to Sawbo for a new tyre and a sandwich at the café by the river while I waited (they do a sensational chicken mayo salad on crusty white). Just over two hundred and twenty five quid all in this morning, joy. Saw a nice rollsroyce while I was waiting at the mot place though, they don’t make them like they used to etc…
