Ducati Factory & Museum Tour

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Dave, Sep 5, 2013.

  1. I have one booked for a week Monday on the way back to Bologna airport from Mugello

I'm hoping the big Ducati store across the road will be open for a mooch as well. Last time I did the factory/museum tour it was shut - but I can't remember what day it was. I have an awful feeling it was a Monday. Does anyone know for sure what day it is shut on?

  2. Sorry its Monday

  3. I'm booked for Tuesday, email confirmation explains store opening times

  4. Awesome stuff. If you fancy it, you could do a little write up for the front page, add some photos etc :upyeah:

  5. I don't have the email as a mate booked the visit. Does it cover the shop OPPOSITE the factory as well as the factory shop?

  6. Pretty sure the email only covers the times of the shop in the museum, not the outlet/dealership by the roundabout.

  7. nice one Dave you jammy Barsteward...this is on my bucket list..pref with a ride through the swiss alps on the way for good measure...and yeah, it would be good to have a few pics on the home page!!

    :upyeah:

  8. There is only one shop now - the Factory Store across the road.
The museum shop sells a few t-shirts and trinkets at the normal prices.

  9. I don't know for sure, but the first words of Italian I learned (Interrailing aged 18, in Naples) were "chiuso lunedi" - it's a pretty safe bet that if somewhere in Italy is going to be closed one day a week, it will be on the Monday.

The Ducati website dealer locator gives the address and contact details for the store:
DUCATI FACTORY STORE & OUTLET, VIA A.C. DUCATI 74/6, 40132 Borgo Panigale (Bologna) ITALY
    Tel. Store: 0516413119 Servizio/Assistenza: 0516413623 Accessori/Ricambi: 0516413850 Fax. 051401646

There is also a Ducati shop at Bologna airport if all you're after is T-shirts etc.

  10. From my email

Museum Bookshop: open Monday to Friday. Factory Store: open Tuesday to Saturday. 200 mt. far from the company.

  11. dave, we are booked for tour on monday too :) shame the shop will be shut, maybe not such a bad thing, this trip is bankrupting me already

  12. Oh well :-(

  13. What time you booked for? We are booked for 1:45pm

  14. image.jpg Hi went the factory in August, blisteringly hot 36c, still had a great time tho, the shop across the roundabout sells a fair bit of kit but it ain't cheap. You get 10% off voucher to spend in the shop whilst on the factory tour, oh and a discount of 2euro on admission price when you produce your ducati owners card. Have fun. Vince:upyeah:

  17. Turns out the Factory Outlet Shop is open today!

Mainly expensive tat but we all managed to find a few bits & bobs, even if it was just a fridge magnet.
