I have an 851 that’s been sat in a hall on display for 30 years. I’ve changed the fuel pump, lines, rebuilt the clutch and brakes. The engine is out of my league though. It’s going to need a full check belts etc. Is there a decent independent in the north of England? I believe John Cellier? Ducati John has retired
Optimum bikes have a Ducati Trained guy called Mark Sayers. He used to be at Ducati Leeds, then set up as an independent in Leeds before being recruited by Optimum. I've just got mine out of the garage after 10 years. Italsport got mine going- used to be a dealer based in Bury, Greater Manchester but father and son are still going as an indy workshop. They are in Whitworth, Lancs. Easily found with a quick google.
