  1. Hi All - Is it just me or is it a struggle to get a socket on the front recessed spark plug ? I got the lead off fairly easy and i'm changing both horizontal plugs and leads . The side plug was no problem but the front plug I just can't seem to get the socket on the plug nice and square.

    TIA

  2. R U using the right type of socket? Spark plug ones are thinner and longer..

  4. Needs to be a very thin wall socket, the standard spark plug socket in my socket set is too thick and fouls on the wall of the cylinder head, I ground an old socket down on my bench grinder.

  5. Hi Perry - Yes I'm using the one suggested below from Amazon which is advertised as Thin walled but is still fouling on the recess wall . I might have to try the long one suggested by Android ( Andy )

  6. That’s strange because they’re the ones I use and they fit in no problem.
