Easily done. For me it was the Red cabbage and apple I made a couple of weeks ago and forgot to get out of the freezer. It meant there was more for Boxing day's all day buffet.
I know what you mean, but they are the extra ones I cook and don't put out on the table just so there are some left for BD B&S.
On the way home via Ryan air at Dublin airport , Johnny Vegas has just boarded. Good to see he’s gone low cost budget and not using his Lear Jet!
Some brutal roads in Cambodia when i was there last, literally 5 hours of cobbles. Horrendous but it was 15 years ago so hopefully improved since..
I’ll tell him to hire a MX’er. His plans are subject to change as he’s still until late September until he’s forced to return. Although a lot will depend on what happens on 20 January when he knows if he’s got into his first selection University. For the moment he’s got Japan to move around in and there is lots he wants to do there. Tokyo yesterday
Did this on the '75 Bonneville this afternoon... ...then at 6 this evening my neighbour said "...we're off to the pub...", so downed tools and did the decent thing...
I hanker for a Xmas abroad. Not spent one elsewhere since 2002 when I worked in Nigeria. A lot to be said for warmer climes this time of year. Bored of the same ole same ole and shite on the telly. Would sooner be sitting on a beach eating the day's catch and watching the sun go down with a Negroni within arms reach. Screw the turkey leftovers and I hate brussell sprouts anyway.
Had a successful shopping trip to the Metro Centre. Successful in as much as I managed not to spend anything and also managed to stop Doris buying anything too
Not ever been away in warmer climes at Christmas but the Mrs suffers with Arthritis and it would bring a temporary relief from damp old England. It would also as you said be a relief from the same old same old.
I’m heading home from Northumberland as I’m out on the lash tonight with my best friends. I’ve already written tomorrow off. Wish me luck!
In the past when I travelled a lot for work, Xmas at home was precious, and completely non-negotiable with work. I don't travel any more, but still couldn't imagine wanting to be anywhere else but at home for the day.
