  2. You upping sticks?

  3. Dunno yet…….depends on a few things.

I’ve registered interest in a rather nice 4 bed show home up in Northumberland but the asking price, release timing and selling mine for the right price are all factors. The valuation on mine is encouraging (and I know and have used the agent before and he knows his stuff) but there’s a lot of ifs, buts and maybes for it to work. The same house type by the same builder, about 2 miles from where I now live, is over £150k more expensive than the one in Northumberland.

If the builder decides to be stupid and massively increase his price from the last one of the same type that he sold, or if he’s not going to release it for a while then I’ll stay where I am as it’s nice area anyway.

    We’ll see.

In other news I’ve just ordered a new laptop :)

  4. I had a call from a mate last night asking if I could pop around in the morning and help him lift some furniture upstairs that was being delivered between 9 and 10 in the morning.
    Of course no problem.
What turned up was a 959 panigale the cheeky bugger ! . I was totally surprised, he's over the moon and I'm so pleased for him. It looks mint, 67 plate just under 8k miles . He got it for a great price and the guy gave him a more than good price for his 821 hyperstrada so happy days.

  8. Having spent the majority of the day holed up in a hotel room feeling sorry for myself I’ve decided to teach this cold a lesson by medically applying copious amounts of the black stuff followed by a hot and spicy Thai dinner.
    That’ll learn it.

  9. Fixed a water leak on the mini one which was from the thermostat housing, the heater still doesn’t work correctly blows hot and cold but never a constant of either.

Fitted a threshold strip to a door frame, put a shelf up and up the gym for Forty minutes of rowing.

  13. Spent half the day in A&E, after a consultation with the out of hours GP yesterday, the result of which is that they think the second lot of tablets I’ve been given for the latest diagnosis don’t agree with me either. Back to square one.

  14. Sorry to read ^ can relate to this, although sounds as though not as seriously, and possibly could've met you in there if it had been last week.

  17. An exciting day, a trip to the dump with a dismantled reclining chair that collapsed which the council won't collect from your house .... even for the £40 they charge. Popped in to Basingstoke and arranged for a replacement 4th Gen iPad Air as my battery pack swelled so much, it bent the frame and lifted the screen in one corner. Much to my surprise, the 'expert' registered it as a battery failure and I will get a brand new 4th Gen iPad Air for £115 .... absolute result as mine was a year out of warranty. Then I found the local schools had an inset day, hoardes of teenage monsters, aimlessly roaming around, making the shopping centre look like a war zone :joy: Now backing up stuff and getting ready to swap everything across to the new iPad when it arrives. 18. Result indeed! I've had a few similar results with H@lf*rds Car Batteries over the years, not by design, just by the lucky/unlucky timing of a "fail". Calling it a day with them now though sadly, as it was such a struggle to get them to define or acknowledge* exactly what a battery failure is the last two times. I've always thought that the 4 year guarantee versions were good value for money but it's almost as if they know this full well and are tempted to resort to dodgy methods* to try and restore the balance a bit..

  19. First ride of the year upto Cleehill then over to Knighton, Kington and home. Lots of snow about in Wales still and 1C for a lot of it. 125 miles in total. Bike washed off and put away. Just need to warm up now.
