So snow here in Staffordshire, how is it with you? Forecast to warm up on Sunday in the afternoon so I guess floods start soon after...
Snowing in London but now stopped and raining. Very slushy conditions underfoot now. 3.30am, out walking dog!

Funnily enough I was looking at going back to crief with the bike, van it up and have a few days there.

I was van lifing with one of my sons and the dog in the Peak District with the intention of then going to visit my dad and brothers near Liverpool over the weekend. Unfortunately, yesterday morning the locals warned us that we would probably get snowed in so we got the Hell out of Dodge and headed home again, meaning that we spent 3 days living like vagrants in a pub car park for nothing. Well, we did get drunk with some farmers on Friday night, which was a laugh, and on the way back home we visited an abandoned and supposedly haunted church at the end of a dirt track in the middle of nowhere in rural Bedfordshire. So, it wasn’t a totally wasted trip, particularly because when we were walking back in the pitch dark to where I’d abandoned the van where the road ran out, a muntjac deer jumped out of the bushes in front of us and my son screamed like a little girl, so I intend to make sure he never forgets that. https://themorbidtourist.com/clophill-church-bedfordshire/
