Hello everybody, I found a very interesting "pantah" on the internet with the model naming: "Pantah 750 Racing" (1986 or 1987). I do not find this model anywhere else and want to ask You if somebody has any info about this model...if it exist officially. It should be a "racing" bike which made it to have (maybe this is a very rare case...)a "street permission"..so possible to use in the normal traffic with valid technical control. It has black pantah engine with an oil cooler on it, etc... Would be great to have some info about it... Thanks in advance! Istvan
Greetings! Have you got some (any) pics of the bike you can post? There a bunch of very knowledgeable people here that will likely know all about it (I'm not one of them) PS What van did you get?
Hello, I add here some pictures about the bike. Normaly there is an original black exhaust with it (that should be the original one instead of the mounted contis). Anybody any info about this model? Regards, Istvan
What a beauty Istvan! Even i would like that bike at a price. i can't help with additional details but a good trawl through the internet is bound to reveal more.
So what can we see in the photos? Standard Pantah frame, painted red, later front forks and brakes. Late Pantah-type engine but dry clutch and external oil feeds, finished in black. Not made by the factory; somebody has made a special from it.
I believe that Ducati homologated a 750 race bike by producing the 650 Pantah in limited numbers for one year. Maybe they shoehorned one of the racing engines into a standard Pantah frame.
