Day Of Champions Is No More

  1. Day of Champions will no longer be held on the Thursday before MotoGP, not 100% it's the last this year or if it won't happen this year. I was actually going this year as it's in May so I can actually go (farming and harvest gets in the way in August), booked hotel for that night and then staying for the GP. Used to always go when it was at Donington, used to quite enjoy the ride-ins.

  2. Huge dig at the BDRC at the end of the article. Andy

    Well, here we are....

  4. I wonder how much longer there will be a British Motogp race.

  6. I spent ages yesterday trying to write a sensible question along exactly those lines but baulked at posting it. The BDRC contract with Dorna expires at the end of 2026 and despite the denials, I remember the hand wringing and justifications for not renewing in 2014. I have little expectation that JP will even remotely entertain MotoGP at Donington and I don't see an altetnative :( Andy

  7. They'll need a smaller track when they're 850's so Donington will be perfect. It was so good when it was there.

    * Obviously I know full well that the 850's will be quicker than current eventually;)
