  1. 44 teeth are doing bike storage now.

  2. Ah yes I remembered Motoline too - looks like that is still goingbut no mention of Sue Perkins?

  3. Potteries Motorcycles are reopening Pidcocks in Nottingham, not as a BMW dealer though apparently.

  4. https://www.visordown.com/news/blade-motorcycles-swindon-closes-down :(

Wondering if the writing is on the wall for the other showrooms in the group. Granted they are part of a car dealership network so should be more resilient.

  5. sad for the staff but not before time. It’s been an absolute sh*t show for years with the most awful reputation. My V2 nearly caught fire after their work, my mates KTM was damaged on collection, I tried to ride a triumph there and got told £1000 deposit etc, just an awful place. Good riddance

  6. It's going to be "Bikers Nottingham". Potteries are owned by GB Moto who have several shops dotted around the UK. Word is, it'll open with used bikes/service/MOT, then they'll move some of the brands in there. They do SYM, Italjet, Benneli etc. I think they may have KTM as well at one of their shops.

  7. Yes heard KTM are going to be one of the main brands moving in

  8. Would anyone really want to be a KTM dealer anymore though?

Unless they drastically change their business practice of stuffing dealers with bikes for stock, getting the dealer to sell to punters at RRP, then at the end of the year telling those same dealers they can offload stock at RRP-20%, thus alienating any and all customers who bought earlier in the year.

  9. totally agree, if you are a KTM dealer now, all you will be able to do is sell all the stock at your cost price, and try and get punters taking PCP and GAP insurance and tyre cover etc to try and get the kickbacks, but unless you are doing serious volume it won’t even keep the lights on.

  10. It's just one of the brands Moto GB sell in another shop. I'm not 100% it'll go in there as there's Judds already selling KTM in Notts? Who knows?

  11. Are Judd losing their KTM franchise in that case?

  12. Don’t know to be honest. I’ve not heard if KTM will be sold in the new place. It’s just one of the many brands that Moto GB have in their other shops. Most of their lot seems to be cheaper scooters, Chinese stuff etc. I think they may have a Jap brand in one of their shops, but not sure which.

  13. I’ve been to their Potteries shop a few years back, as you say they sell many brands. Royal Enfield and Royal Alloy spring to mind as well as KTM.

  14. Kawasaki as well I think.
