Hi there all, new to the forum (but not to Ducati ) Beginning a search this year for a low mileage/low owner 848. If anyone either has a bike they might be willing to sell, or knows of one, I'd be grateful for a heads up. Willing to pay strong money for the right example. Thanks!

that’s either an import, American, or it’s had the pipes changed (less of an issue) but those are US spec exhausts, they are easy to spot as they hang out the back 2-3 inches longer
i always think of those as "trackday exhausts" as must be more effective than "ours" but i don't know how much better thay are in practice (npi).
I’m not sure if the extra length was just noise reduction though of if they had bigger cats in them, as the latter would just be more of a pain I guess on track. I think it’s bigger cats as they were to cover sales in California because those bikes also had the EVAP system. to the OP, check it’s a UK bike, and just consider a cheap mod would be to get some UK spec cans on there for a little more noise. I personally like the 848 sound with standard cans, more of a weight thing than anything else
Thanks for the replies all, the knowledge on this forum is second to none White looks superb, but it's got to be a red bike I'm afraid Minty 848s seem very thin on the ground, regardless of colour. I guess it's very much a riders bike, and many have seen plenty of action! Grateful for all leads + tip offs
they are rare! I bought my last one in 2017 for £6500 from a dealer and it was immaculate. I would hold out for an evo, it’s a better bike.
