Deffo a 1000cc Cagiva Raptor - the V had a front fairing & errr... horns. Much modified and a darn sight cleaner than mine https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/cagiva-v-raptor-refresh.100910/
Yup, it's a V Raptor 1000. Aka the Rupture now thanks to Chris 916 front end, triumph street triple seat and subframe, pegs lowered etc etc.
Not much at all really, I've got the tail light, rear shock and dog bones, rear caliper and a couple of carbon engine covers that need work
That picture is uncanny, i originally got the Raptor to make it in to a 851 replica but changed my mind.
it's a reminder for me of a bad decision, only 4k miles and should have kept it - it was the "too many bikes" reason which we all know is a poor one. Did you do all the mods yourself? I used to go on a Forum which you probably know of, someone had fitted an Aprilia(?) swinging arm on one i remember.
Darn it... if you'd had some more stuff, body work etc, I might well have been in the market for them. Hey ho, no worries mate & enjoy that motor cus it is a giggle
Yep, an Aprilia RSV was the swingarm conversion of choice and the forum is still there but very quiet.... https://raptorchapter.org.uk/
Yes mate, been there with a reverse cylinder TZR 250 I did, apart from the alloy welding for the shortened subframe. I've seen the aprillia swop but I didn't want to stray too far, I quite like the simplicity of the Rupture arm.
