  1. The front and rear facing cameras are of interest to me, cheaper than an innov. The ability to use Google maps and/or waze and/or Calimoto whilst leaving my phone in my pocket is a plus.

  3. ^^^Excellent choice, if I may say so. A word to the wise. Make sure you tick the box for the full race exhaust. Transformative.

  4. God I wish I was a bit taller. :worried:

  5. My current insurers won't allow it. Will have to wait til later in the year before making a decision.

Its also a dealers demo bike so getting a substantial saving on a new one.

  7. Don’t buy one without the exhaust upgrade it runs lumpy as below 4000 with out the termi remap , I learned the hard way

  8. Just putt a deposit down on 698.. went standard not RVE as was little out my price range, never had quick shifter on my pervious bikes so may get one fitted after some time!

going for a test ride next week too.

    got a few questions below.

For OEM parts does these have be bought by dealer or can the public buy straight from Ducati as looking to get the oem lowered seat as it’s just that tad to high?

is there any got you I should look out for the bike has 995 miles on as dealer has said it’s had its first service already?

As it’s also my first Ducati and happy to be joining the gang!

    Thanks all

  9. Make sure you are happy with the lumpy and lack of predictability of the throttle below 4000 revs it’s a real pain when filtering or 30 mph, that being said everything else is amazing

  10. Is there anything that can sort that out, map/exhaust etc? Or that just one of things that’s come with bike being single?

  11. Get the factory termi full system, it comes with filter and remap, like a different bike with this

  12. Who do you insure with? My insurers say it’s not covering race systems.

  13. The end cans are Ducati road certified stamped so no problems

  14. Are you sure?

  15. There’s no aftermarket mapping available for the ECU on that bike yet :( but they will come.

  16. Not sure about that. Its still a race system.
99% of the time it would not be an issue but be involved in a serious accident and it would open a whole can of worms and financial hell.

  17. Interesting dyno run, they didn’t remap it but did release a little more on standard can and decat fitted with a sprint filter.

  18. you beat me to it N - you included the vid below some time ago and, if it's to be trusted, is very useful for a 698 owner looking for the best compromise (moo).

Conclusion so far is that stock exhaust is the way to go.:upyeah:

  19. If you check this Ducati UK link out it says road legal, I am assuming the end cans are the same on there own as well as part of the full system
