Probably 2024 model year, maybe pre reg'd. Otherwise I have no idea but I would snap it up if I didnt already have one.
The v4s was on my short list of bikes, not the rally due to size/weight. Built in navs? I have used the BMW app, either displays on phone or takes up most of dash display if navigating, at the expense of other information. Much prefer stand alone navigation on phone or a nav unit. Tomtom app is excellent, routes can be imported from mra. Or just use a Garmin/tomtom unit. Fuel consumption and chain..? Largely why I went GS again. Mine arrives next week. What people miss is that the GS is completely different to a GSA, with the new GS carrying less weight and size than a Multistrada rally!
Btw, love Ducati motorcycles, just feel the Multistrada went in the wrong direction for me. Even wheelbase is longer than a GS. Been this way since the 1260.
Got the googleplay and mirror link in the car. It needs a dedicated screen. Imo I have not seen a motorcycle with a screen big enough to give the information you need on a ride AND navigation at the same time. ?
std diesel is always good to clean/lube the chain. also great for removing tar and other 'oil based' deposits.
I use the low maintenance HPE chain , 6000 plus now , soap and water and occasional rub with an oiled cloth, but maybe done that one this year .
Some more disappointment this morning. I insured the Rally from yesterday with my personalised plate, however, the bike has come with the original plate and it appears I can't assign my plate until the V5C arrives in my name. A completely digitised service that requires the Royal Mail to do its bit first. Unless anyone knows own another route ? Made worse by my old RT failing (expected) its MOT on Wednesday, parts should have arrived Friday, hopefully repaired and re-MOT'd on Monday, by which time I will be too busy at work to ride either.
Ymfb - does yours have a brace behind the number plate, connecting the two pannier frames? Looks to me like there should be one but mine doesn't have it. Bit worried about pannier security when riding loaded on bump dirt roads - ie will the boxes stay on!
