Ducati fleet numbers 19, ranging from a 1958 125 F3 to the Desmosedici, plus 19 others, British iron dating from 1949 to the mid '70's, throw in two Massey Fergie 35s, a Polaris quad and two Jaguars and I mostly run or cycle everywhere.
They’re not Kenny Robert’s leathers are they? God I would love to spend a few hours gawping at that collection of beauties. How often do you ride them may I ask?
Aye Jack, the Scott leathers were my brother's racing apparel in the '70's whereas I had the products of Lewis Leathers for protection on my "excursions" on the circuits. Don't ride them that often now as the go to bike is the 1955 BSA 250 C12, best all rounder in the business.

A mate of mine who had tried all sorts of different motorcycle always maintained the BSA A10 was the best bike he ever owned.

Choice of two Steve, a 3 cylinder Perkins and 4 cylinder Standard engine. The former starts on the button but that Standard motor requires plenty of reheat, diesel vapour out the exhaust, plenty of turning then, finally, bursts into life. Brings a tear to the eye of wee Greta Thun. of Stockholm that one.

If truth be told I've never heard of the FF30DS as it was not listed in the UK, is the engine a Perkins or Standard-Hotchkiss ? Hay turned and ready for the baler.
FF30 were French built Fergies. It stands for « Ferguson France 30hp ». You easily recognize them as their guts were painted in red. Hence their nickname « ventres rouges » (« red bellies »). They were were built under licence in the St Denis Factory between 1957 and 1958. « DS » stands for « Diesel Standard » and you are right, the engine was a Standard Hotchkiss 20C, also built in France under licence, my mistake... The same engine was found on post war Diesel powered Jeeps, if I am not mistaken. Other FF30 versions were GS (gasoline standard), DE/GE (narrow diesel/gasoline) and DV/GV (Vineyard diesel/gasoline).
