I still use CDs, top sound quality and the artist gets paid, A mate who is ex EMI and Universal had a major clearout of hundreds of CDs from his time in the music business. I have been through them with a fine tooth comb, pulled out some gems, some still unwrapped, some internal not for resale, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Blur, amazing albums I never got around to buying, a gift from the music gods.
He's a good friend, he's kept most of his vinyl and got digital versions of the major stuff, I can't see me buying anything new for ages.
