Nope, not quite… Like I said, time for new upgraded wires. Believe it or not, the bike started fine and ran smooth when I bought it a month and a half ago.
Yeah, I have been very cautious about this. I have marqued each wire (old/new) individually on both sides, sketched the whole thing on paper, checked 8 times before launching myself into this… Here’s the cover side done. RTV curing now.
We’re almost there. Setting up the pickups and the cover goes back on. At last! In the meantime, I received these beauties…
Yeah, from what I can remember there is a little 'ramp' type effort in the plastic with a gap at the top that provides the push & locking mechanism. The wires inside the casting are themselves a real tight fight and some time spent forming them into the gaps is beneficial.
So Brancato Engineering says 0.05-0.10. The Darmah WS manual says 0.04-0.05. I am tempted to go for 0.05mm. What do you, Bosh ignition Gurus, recommend ?
I'm gonna assume it's the same as any clearance range so anywhere between the max & min would be acceptable?
Patina, how’s the Raptor coming along I’ve had countless sleepless nights in anticipation of the next update?
He-he-he - funny you should ask, because after a 2 week hiatus due to the cold I've just managed a couple of hours in the garage so a new exciting instalment will be upon us all soon.
