Bought tickets for Joe Bonamassa in Brighton (my choice) and Wet Wet Wet & Heather Small at Indigo O2 (not my choice).

 

Barbados. Going to travel around a bit on the island, although 3 weeks might be a bit too long on a small island if so a short flight to a neighbouring island might be the thing to do.
Just getting used to the temperature and humidity, and the rum!

St Lucia only about 40mins by air. My best times in the Caribbean have been on boats - maybe there's a sea trip you can make?

 

Nice. Are you going to do the Mount Gay distillery tour; and do they still run the electric submarine down to the coral reef?

 

I remember years ago a boat trip out from the island of Bequia to the island of Mustique on a light pleasure craft, the weather turned on the return trip into an almighty storm. We were soaked and frozen cold when we arrived back on shore having been ankle deep in sick!
I’ve been to a few of the islands before in a previous life so don’t want to retrace my steps. Barbados seems busy enough on the west coast and quiet on the east coast enough to entertain.
oh and the food has been good also.

Mount Gay rum distillery looks to be good.

Fixed my chop saw…. Well I think I have anyway.

 

We did that a few years ago. Everyone was quite composed, until we got to make cocktails at the bar, then it all went wrong! I remember a group of us sitting on the beach eating lobster about 6 hours after it finished, completely pissed still!

 

Had my exit interview/consultation a short while ago. Didn’t get the total payout I was expecting but it’s okay and other people have been properly shafted so I’m at peace with it now and have closure. Last day after 8 years is two weeks tmrw.
I’m even starting to think about a new career and somehow have “buy a b&b” swimming around my head lol.
Few weeks to rest then we go again.
