I was shown this and ordered one on the spot. It’s actually designed for e-bikes/cycles. Designed to do away with carrying bombs, obviously in case of puncture. It’ll do several cycle tyres in one charge but it does have a USB charge port so I figure it may well be able to do a motorbike tyre. Even without USB it’ll probably have enough grunt to get you out of trouble. They’re sold by a South African company but I couldn’t find any on the tinterweb in the UK at the moment. In fact they’ve been such a success here in ZA they’re like hens teeth here. You just plug it onto your valve and press the button. Goes up to 120psi! comes with various adapters so it will do a motorbike tyre. It’s going straight into my touring spares kit that’s for sure. In fact I was wondering what to do about puncture repair kit for my next trip but more of that later. I’ll test it out on a motorbike tyre when I get back and post again.
These are popping up on a lot of cycling forums. They look good, quick and easy to get up to pressure compared to a mini manual pump. I'd rather see these in use compared to those wasteful canisters.

Yeah, similar but this one was about £48. £80-100 is pretty salty. I’ll test it out and find out when more will be available. I was going to buy more as presents but I could only get hold of one.

Yup. It seems most carry an actual pump as well, just incase satan's canisters fail on them. I also hate gels and all they stand for....
These canisters you all seem to hate, do you mean the tyre repair / puncture ones that are so popular nowadays ? I was thinking of getting a couple for our Ducato van .
I think that they're referring to the Sparklets type single use little bottles of gas. You need several to get a rideable amount of inflation to get you to a garage where you can then get proper pressure into the tyre.
If your Ducato is anything like my Ducato then it is 3.5t and 65psi. Mine needs a heavy duty 12V car pump. A gas cannister suitable for a motorbike will not do the same job on a Ducato.
Both Nelson and I are the Devils own spawn and cycle for leisure so we’re referencing them in cycling terms. Well at least I am, I would imagine there would be quite a considerable amount of canisters required even for a scooter tyre?
It is yes. All i'm wanting is a canister of that tyre fix stuff so i can get home and fix it properly . We only use it for MX transport
