Went on a short steam train ride through the countryside north of the island this morning. This part of the line has only been open for two weeks, so relatively new. As we climbed the hillside the engine gave out loads of hot ashes with burning embers which covered the open carriage at the front. People were flicking burning ash from their hair and clothes, some had burnt through shirts. The journey was cut short and then abandoned when on the return leg we had to pass through this! Went left just before the fire service turned up. Great tip, highly recommend.
Hang on, you’d recommend going on a train ride where your hair and clothes get burnt? You should look into becoming a tour guide!
Cleaned the zed last night (every 2 weeks for a full clean during the winter).....doing fuck all today...watching an old film...Executive Decision....i do love it when a scene opens and the type appears on the screen with the morse-codey stylee beeping....your in for a good old fashioned action film then...a la Hunt for Red October...
Moving on tomorrow is going to be a busy one... 1. Got a couple of old RC cars to clean up check and put on ebay. 2. Wash the car. 3. New Samco Hose kit for the SXV 4. Mate coming over on his RSV1000 after its winter hibernation (get it ready for the TT) 5. Hoover the house. (the boring stuff)

Took the Gs out for a ride around Stratford and Cotswolds, always surprises me how well it handles for what it is. First ride in weeks and there were lots of bikes out enjoying the weather.
I've been looking at new/additional furniture to fill the new El Toro Towers, costing up everything I'd like in the new house and I've contacted my broadband supplier and Sky TV to pre-warn them about my move.

First BBQ of the year, pork & apple sausages, Lincolnshire sausages, home minted and garlic marinated lamb steaks and Barnsley chops Sun is on the way down now so time to come in and catch up on the MotoGP Andy
Fixed an oil weep on the GSXR - nipped o ring on gear indicator sensor. Walked pooches up the woods too.

Most stuff accomplished.... 1. Mate couldnt make it over on his RSV (no biggie...i got more me-time) 2. Changed the hoses out on the SXV 3. Started fault finding the charging problem on the 400/4 4. Down to fowlers to get oil and coolant (always good to keep spare fluids in the garage) - gave the hyper a run-out. 5. Carried on the systematic cleaning-out and getting more space in the garage. 6. Put the kids RC cars on ebay. 7. Hoovered the house - hate that bit... All good - sunday lunch in about 30 mins...lovely.
Ive learnt over the last few days i must work harder and pay more tax to provide for the rest of the world, must dash I've got some overtime to do.
