Got the tank into primer just so I could see what imperfections still remain… lots

 

did 100 odd miles and then washed the bike, shite everywhere, number plate was unreadable

 

Ghost plate?

 

Taxed the SL and just took it for a quick spin. Very different to my new SS, pulls well, sounds great. Need to get some miles on it

 

Fixed the gear shift on the young lad down the roads 765 Street Triple. Luckily for him I had all the parts needed in my spares box.
Got a nice warm glow from doing that. He learnt a bit on the way too.

 

Went out and looked at all the bits that need to come off my bike and go on the new one. It’s quite a comprehensive list!

 

Ordered some exactfit high output coils for my 900 SL.
Also ordered some Oxford hot grips for my scooter.

 

Does the warm glow mean it’s the start of a bromance?

 

Another glorious day and out for a play on the Striple with newly fitted Akra. F me it’s loud.

 

Installed the gecko rearsets. Very happy with them.
Now I've got some ducabike rearsets to clean up and sell

 

Washed both the Pikes Peak and Scrambler after they got filthy during our little ride out on Sunday. There’s something quite cathartic about washing a motorcycle. Andy

 

Am I right in thinking you can't just have a slip on can anymore on a 2023 on 765 ? You need a full system or older headers?

 

Correct. All years of the 765 headers fit but you really need the 2020-2022 ones with the pipe connecting the down pipes or you will loose midrange.
Mine has 2022 headers with cat, link pipe (deleting collector box) and end can.

 

Started spraying up the Nsr petrol tank.

 

Took delivery of my new Oz wheels, over 2 decades I've been twiddling my thumbs on this purchase... The moment I lifted the front wheel, I knew I had made the right choice to finally buy a pair

 

Finished early, sun out when I got home so went for a 40 mile ride on the SL. I really like this bike, it’s like sitting on a plank of wood tho!
