Rear shock linkage from 1199/1299. The 899 and 959 come with a progressive rate linkage which is ok for mixed riding but it is a compromise that reduces ride quality unnecessarily if you aren’t swapping between single and pillion all of the time. This linkage allows the choice of progressive or the more desirable flat rate setting which is better for suspension setup. You basically get a more linear rate throughout the whole range of travel instead of the progressive which starts out softer but gets stiffer as you reach the limits of compression. £50 plus postage.
