  4. I would normally agree however, having had a bottle of that particular one previously, I can honestly say it’s pretty good. Like a Speyside. Not firey.

  5. I prefer mine with a bit of peat & smoke, but each to their own. As someone once said, there's no bad whisky, just different whisky; finding out which ones you like is half the fun.

  6. I've had a bottle. it's good stuff.

  7. Scotland WTF?! Auld Alliance? Does that ring a bell? Let France win so England loses FFS…

  12. I love the connections between F. Russell and B. Kinghorn with so many of the French players. Good spirit right there!

  15. Can’t rely on the jocks, great 6N though. What are Wales going to do?

  16. Nothing hopefully :D

  17. Lots of young blood in that Welsh Team. And loads of eagerness. May be different coaching? Letting them play how they want? There’s a sense of very invasive coaching pressure in the UK teams. England being the most striking example. Yesterday, when the XV of the Rose played Wales, there was a sense of “free reins” and they actually started playing. You know, as in playing a game, having fun, smiling et all. And for once, I enjoyed watching them playing. Scotland plays a lot! F. Russel smiles a bunch when he plays and I find it really cool. He is really a nice player to watch on the pitch, no matter his day performance is good or bad. So goes with B. Kinghorn. Always smiling! These guys are truly enjoying themselves on the pitch.

Another thing: UK media seems highly toxic toward your teams, with both players and coaches. It’s absolutely horrible to see a coach job being questioned every time his team loses a game, or a player being publicly shamed for missing a kick or something. I truly feel for Borthwick, Gatland, etc. Or young Prendergast. This kid is not even given a chance to be born by the media!!! When Galthié and his lads fuck a game up (like they so bloody did in Twickenham a few weeks ago!), no one (in France) questions his position or their collective performance. Ever. (some British media do, which is quite amusing really…).

You just need to give them space to do their job. A very difficult job, I would say.

Did you notice how the French players brought the trophy to the TV commenters/jornos table right after the game and how they celebrated together (and probably later in the night)? These guys deeply respect each others. That helps tremendously, in terms of media image.
