i might slim it down at the sides, and perhaps i can fit a spacer either side of the bracket to move them out a tiny bit too. i did think about scalloping (though admittedly i didnt have such a great way to articulate it - well done there!) but i thought it might draw police attention if threy saw it just because its an odd thing to do!
My son has a from new 2024 Brutale 800RR, it's a stunning looking bike and it get's admirers everywhere he stops. It is not without it's challenges 1. it has a bloody uncomfortable seat, 2. the oil sump gasket leaked a tiny amount of oil on the floor and the trailing numberplate holder fell off in the first week, but 2 and 3 were fixed without a quibble by the MV dealer in Plymouth where he bought it from. I have a from new 2023 Monster+ - see the picture left. The Plymouth MV dealer lent us a Dragster 800RR for an hour and I bloody loved it, He also lent us a Brutale 1000RR too for the same ride out and that was an absolute weapon. When my Monster+ PCP finishes in September 2026, I am resolved to order one of those two bikes, I don't know which yet and I can't wait. Sex on a Stick!
I must admit I am spoiled for comfort on the monster 1200s, it’s about to get an ohlins damper and some baffles to calm down the spark gp dual under seat pipes, but I’ll own an MV again in the future, I would be interested to try a 4 cylinder one but the triple was awesome, I really loved it !
