https://www.superbikeadvocatesracing.com/about-1. I have been doing a bit of digging and I’m not encouraged. Superbike Racing Advocates was incorporated in Australia in 2024 and has yet to turn a wheel in racing. It appears to be the brainchild of playboy car collector come TV presenter who has the appearance of wealth. No history in bike racing, launching new teams in consecutive seasons on two continents. What could possibly go wrong ? Andy
I think it will bring an interesting dynamic that maybe some won’t like, a few years ago Fay Ho was getting all the TV time as she was new and shiny with the big team in the paddock, now Foggy will get all that attention. other teams may not like it so much! There are other smaller teams that perhaps won’t get a look In in terms of TV coverage and airtime but we will see. it will be interesting to see which riders go there also, Glenn is obvious as he seems to have a great relationship with foggy but he’s a sensitive rider to manage which foggy will hate, I can’t really see any others that would gel well with foggy
Couldn’t give a rats arse what he’s like in public tbh. I’d tell someone to leg it if they were bothering me at an airport or having dinner or what have you as well a large % of the time. Hes why I love racing and ducatis. He’s an icon of our sport (and a British one at that if that’s your thing).
Could be one or two coming down from wsb by the end of the season…Lowes and/or Redding would be the obvious (to me at least).
IMO, too early to start the speculation, they are not fielding a one rider team until the 2026 season, maybe followed by a two rider team in 2027. There’s a lot that can put a spanner in the works between now and then. Not least, the team’s first foray into the Australian superbike series this year, being a damp squib. Andy
I tried to watch Aussie Superbikes. 2 horse races (mainly Maxwell and Herfos) on featureless tracks with seemingly no crowd. Made me realise just how good BSB is as a national series.
Smells of Rich Energy Drink. Ie money laundering front as it never sells a product yet gives out millions in sponsorship deals
That fool from Rich Energy is back in the paddock this year I believe sponsoring another team. Still never seen a can anywhere for sale! Same as Leopard
