I went on a ride today and when stopped noticed some oil on my left rear tyre and some floating on a rain puddle beneath the bike. Whilst I'm waiting for AA to collect, can anyone help identify what this missing bolt is? Can only assume something is meant to be there and isn't anymore.. Any other ideas/advice welcome!
Leaking clutch slave? Is the clutch fluid level low? Don’t think there’s anything missing, probably a mount to be used when builing the engine???
Just been and checked in mine, I have the same bolt “missing”. Nothing supposed to be there as per Twinlover. Looking at the cable running underneath your clutch slave, I reckon he’s right with that too
Or, worst case scenario, the output shaft seal, behind the front sprocket, has gone. But check clutch slave cylinder first.

This is where I'd place my money based on the pics provided. Hopefully it's the clutch slave as others have said.
Struggling to keep day light at the moment to properly look into this. Cleaned the bike up yesterday to get a better look at it all, clutch fluid is on the low mark and when pulling the clutch after washing, I did hear a little squeak like air was coming out down by the slave but it stopped after a couple of pulls. I've ordered the Oberon slave and a couple of o rings for the clutch push rod. Will take it apart and remove the front sprocket cover to see what that's like when I come to fit the parts as it needs a clean anyway. Hard to tell for 100% exactly where it's coming from but it does seem like one of the 3 things everyone suggested. @Bumpkin / @freshage If it is the output shaft seal, can you help provide the part number? Struggling to find which part it is online
It's item #61 on this parts diagram. Original part number 93040221A. If this is the source of the leak you'll need to check the output shaft bearing as a precaution. It is, of course, possible for the seal to fail on it's own. I don't want to put the frighteners on you but failure of the bearing, I'm pretty sure, would require some serious work entailing engine out and splitting of the cases. Primary cause of failure being an overtight chain.
Looks like it was a broken o-ring on the push rod, fingers crossed that's it all fixed. Thanks for the help.
