Moto Gp Round 3 - Cota - Spoilers

  1. Great ride by Dixon.

Even the sprint race was a yawnfest.

Very much like F1 now: admire the inch-perfect riding and skills, tactics and bike doing a lot, very little actual overtaking after a lap or two and, if there is, it’s not covered as it’s towards the back of the grid.

  2. Mm93 helmet looked good I thought

  3. In 2006, we were at Valencia sitting in the stand at the point on the track Rossi fell off. Andy

  4. And still beat Toseland IIRC?

  5. That was the year Troy Bayliss was given a wild card ride on the Ducati to celebrate his WSBK title and pissed off into the distance. He won by a country mile. Andy

  6. Yeah that’s right…. Blimey, some time ago… I was as fit as a flea :D

  7. NH won twice in 06. Assen and his home round.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  9. Just read that all ten riders who left the MotoGP grid before the start have been awarded ride-through penalties to be applied in Qatar.

  10. Let’s face it hes always been a complete fucking idiot when it comes to the rules of the sport he participates in (and everyone else abides by).

  11. Absolutely bloody hilarious :joy: With 10 riders all having to complete a penalty loop within, is it 3 or 6 laps ?, is going to cause mayhem at Qatar. 1 utter twat and 9 brainless sheep. I wonder what the fall out is going to be  Andy

  12. Great!! Should make it even more watchable. Who doesn’t like a bit of high speed chaos! Can’t wait :D

Gotta love MM. If he’s not bashing fairings, he’s making the grid run about like headless chickens. Dunno what they pay him but it’s not enough

  13. Where’s the confirmation of this?? I haven’t seen a single mention of it.

  14. Never a dull moment when MM is involved.
I’d actually warmed to him a bit of late , having rebounded from serious injury etc etc. However after that debacle on Sunday I think my first impressions of him were correct in that he is ultimately a bit of a knob. ( a very fast knob mind you ! )
Not only that ,but the stampede by the rest of the pack and the spineless actions at the time of the Stewards left me a bit deflated.
Overall it ruined what could have been quite a race.

On another note I’m disappointed with Acosta’s lack of progress. I know the bike is a pig but his DNF count is getting farcical now. He’s a huge talent but he’s really struggling at the moment.

Alderguer and Ogura have also proved me wrong so far. Well impressed with their first few outings.

  15. Saw it in a Facebook feed. So its validity may be suspect. It’s also April fools’ day today…
