  1. Oh we're it that simple. Only a few more days, which in the grand scheme of things ain't bad.

  4. A sneaky peek at the new tail / seat cowl unit. Still a few more details to add, which will go on it tomorrow, such as the tricolore stripes. Full reveal of it and the complete bike coming soon!!

  6. Is extreme patience part of the helicopter test, there's no way I could wait this long to get it finished :upyeah:

  7. Not so much. More resignation that there are some things you simply have no control over, such as waiting for parts.....it's an occupational hazard of many build projects. Not too much longer to wait though. I am aiming to ride the bike to the season opener at my local dealer on Saturday, all being well and good.

  8. From what I have seen so far, my painter has done a great job. Finishing details and touches are due to be completed tomorrow and I will collect it at the weekend.

  9. So managed to get to the season opener at Seastar today. Bike ran fine which is always a concern after it's major surgery. If you have not been in there lately, they have an amazing line up of bikes in the showroom, all part of a local man's collection, who is offloading them all as he is moving house and needs the space, apparently. The collection includes an ex WSB Bautista bike that he bought for £250,000 and is on sale for £80,000, an Aprilia "X" track bike, a limited edition Toprak Razgatioglu Yamaha R1 plus a signed helmet, and several limited edition Panigale V4s, such as the Pecco, Bautista, Bezecchi and Bulega models, and a Lamborghini Streetfighter. All brand new bikes. Quite an offering for those with deep pockets. Worth a look even if it is just to browse over them.

  14. The seat was the last piece to go on. Very happy with the result.

  15. I’m glad you put some still shots up that video was a bit jarring on my poor old eyes. It looks amazing but then your attention to detail is always impressive. Now don’t go and sell it !

  17. Wow! That is stunning. So many times people throw money at bikes and make them look like dogs dinner. That is gorgeous.

  18. I have to say the final product looks a heap better than I thought it would. Not to everyone’s taste probably but you have to admire the attention to detail and finish. Now get out and ride it!! Enjoy.

  19. Yes I was in two minds about the exhaust but I'm pleased with the end result and I didn't want to follow the herd and go down the predictable Akra route. Just waiting on some dry weather and I'll be out on it later this week.
